About us

Mind Matters Monmouth is a private counselling and therapy service based in Monmouth, South Wales. We provide therapy to adults who are experiencing a wide range of difficulties, from depression and anxiety to trauma and addiction. All our therapists are BACP registered and work from a humanistic perspective.

Founded by counsellor and integrative therapist Helen Bryden, we are focused on meeting the needs of our clients, in a way that works for them. Empathic, non-judgmental and open in our approach we support our clients to explore difficult feelings, past trauma or immediate crises and work to discover better ways of coping with and processing these experiences.

We work from our warm and inviting rooms in the centre of Monmouth and also offer online therapy. We can also offer face to face sessions in Abergavenny. At Mind Matters Monmouth we strongly believe in the importance of the therapist-client relationship and the power of having another human being witness and support us through our most difficult emotional experiences.
